Appleton Academy, Bradford

Appleton Academy is an all through 3-19 academy based in Wyke, Bradford. The Academy opened in 2009 and moved into a new £24.15 million state-of-the-art building in 2012. The Academy is named after Sir Edward Appleton, a Nobel prize winning scientist who both studied and worked at the College.

Appleton made the decision to maintain their buildings with an industry leading Whittle 5-year internal painting programme. On programme commencement the first priority was to bring the Academy back to the high standard of presentation that Appleton wanted, to ensure students had the best environment to learn in. Year 3 of the programme has just been completed and the client is delighted with its investment in a long term programme which guarantees that the presentation of its buildings are always exceptional.
