Working closely with Crown Paints, The Pear Tree Café - in the heart of the University of Worcester’s St John’s Campus - has been given a new lease of life with a vibrant new colour palette.
A low odour, fast drying paint system was also specified to ensure it was still a great place to meet and eat whilst the project was ongoing.
Contrasting greys and a teal colour have been used to refresh the space, which Joe Stock – Capital Projects Procurement Officer at the University of Worcester – says had become tired.
He said: “We invited Hankinson Painting Group to do a refresh of our Student Union. It wasn’t student friendly; the colours were quite dark and off-putting. It now looks really good.”
One of our painters from our West Bromwich team, James Badland, takes a leading role in the video and does an outstanding job.
Ivor Thomas, Hankinson Group Operations Director said:
“This was an excellent project to be involved in and it demonstrated how effective use of colour can uplift a space to create a more welcoming, safer and healthier environment.”
