Stephen Hankinson, CEO of Wirral-based Hankinson Group and Chair of the Trailblazer Employers Group, is delighted to report that after two years of planning, the Apprenticeship Standard and End Point Assessment for Industrial Coatings Applicator has now been approved for delivery by the Institute for Apprenticeships. This will allow for the training, development and certification of new applicators by registered training providers.

NQA, one of the leading UKAS accredited certification bodies recently carried out the recertification of our quality system and for the first time this was as Integrated Management System (IMS) for Whittle Programmed Maintenance (trading as Hankinson Painting Group) and covered transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
The collaborative paint supplier of the Hankinson Group, PPG (http://corporate.ppg.com/Home.aspx), recently held its inaugural innovation summit in Montreaux, Switzerland, where they discussed what the future holds for paint.
